Kerala's Chief Secretary Lizzie Jacob on Thursday decided to go on a long leave, apparently hurt by a remark by Chief Minister VS.

Thiruvananthapuram, Thursday, 30 August: The Chief Secretary has recommended for a thorough investigation to the land deal issue in Idukki’s Rajakumari area. The report was submitted to the Chief Secretary following the investigation done by Idukki district Collector Raju Narayana Swami, and as per request of Kerala Congress Joseph group since Minister T.U.Kuruvill was also alleged to be involved in the issue.

Sources say Chief Secretary has found misappropriation has occurred in the land documents in the land deedand fully agrees with the collector’s findings on the issue.

Last week Idukki district Collector Raju Narayana Swami had visited the Rajakumari village office and found misappropriation had occurred in the land deed documents he had also ordered the transfer of all staff at Rajakumari village office.
